Get to Grasse, the world capital of perfume and enjoy the guided visit of the perfume factory Fragonard. Discover the old town of Grasse.
By the countryside road, reach Valbonne a beautiful medieval village created in 1519, built on a grid plan. Discover the façades of ochre-coloured stone pastel with pastel shutters, porches covered with vine or bougainvillea and it's 19th century belfry. Stroll in its paved streets full of handicrafts and “cafés”. Time for lunch.
Drive along the “Loup river” with a superb cascade, 40 meters high. Admire magnificent panoramas and reach Gourdon nicknamed "the eagle nest". Since very ancient times, the isolated peak on which Gourdon stands was a place of refuge and defence, occupied by the Celts and Ligurians, then Romans, who left behind some ruins. Also Queen Victoria came here to paint watercolours on the square that now bears her name! Gourdon has a medieval castle with many historical documents, paitings, furniture, weapons and especially remarkable gardens in the tradition of Le Notre, who designed those of Versailles.Enjoy the breathtaking view on the whole Riviera and the Alps.
On the way back, in the heart of Bellet vineyard, situated close to Nice, dicover the "Chateau de Cremat", built in 1906 with a fantastic view on the sea and taste the original red, rosé and white wine .
